In a groundbreaking move, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between Samagra Shiksha Uttarakhand and Swiss Education Group, Switzerland, in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. This visionary collaboration is set to revolutionize tourism and hospitality training in the state.

Enhanced Skills for the Youth

The primary objective of this transformative partnership is to provide advanced training in the domains of tourism and hospitality to students from classes 9th to 12 in Uttarakhand. Through this MoU, the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Banshidhar Tiwari, and the Executive Director of Swiss Education Group, Hiraj Artinian, are joining forces to elevate the vocational education curriculum and empower Uttarakhand's youth with valuable skills.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami envisions this agreement as a pivotal moment in shaping the future of tourism and hospitality training in Uttarakhand. He emphasizes the abundant employment potential within these sectors in the state. "By gaining proficiency through training in these areas, our students will get many employment opportunities," he stated.
